When I was still struggling to get back to college, I remember one day driving just to drive and listen to my stereo, and I ended up in Leavenworth, KS. As I was pulling into town, I saw this big yellow airplane-hanger style building that reminded me of the old TG&Y, but this one was a discount book store. So I went in, and for no apparent reason went all the way to the back and almost directly to this book called "The Science of God" by Dr. Gerald Schroeder. I just bought it, and went home. It was like this grand adventure / road trip had only one purpose, and it was to find that book.

And it was worth it. It was everything that I had thought that I was supposed to do. It was a scientific explanation of Genesis 1 and other Biblical passages which point to a fundamental truth that I had long believed ... that Genesis 1 is not literally literal; but it is literary in a very literal way.

What I mean is that Genesis 1 is right. The timeline is poetry, but it is also math and science.

I even wrote a poem about it. Wanna hear it? OK, here it goes:

How fast is God?
How slow His time?
That one day of HIs is
One thousand of mine?

Anyway, as I will detail in other posts, I have long prepared myself for the day when I might be required to prove that God is real. I just never thought I would have to do that just to get surgery for Tarlov Cyst Disease.

And I always believed that my prophetic mission would go farther than Dr. Schroeder's analysis, and even toyed with my own theory of gravity but couldn't do the math at that level. (Think buoyancy in the aether, and you'll get the literal drift.)
